Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging guided tours to diverse groups of tourists.
• Share personal anecdotes and stories to enhance the tour experience.
• Monitor and manage guest satisfaction throughout the tour.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote tours.
• Assist in developing new tour packages and itineraries.
• Maintain tour equipment and ensure everything is in working order.
• Gather and analyse customer feedback for service improvement.
• Provide first aid assistance if necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field
• Tour Guide Certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Public Speaking
• Knowledge of Local History

Certifications

• Advanced First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
