Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care, ensuring comfort and safety for all patients. You will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications, and coordinating with healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial patient assessments and ongoing evaluations.
  • Administer vaccinations and perform health screenings.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients in need.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Implement and evaluate patient care plans based on individual needs.
  • Facilitate communication between patients and families regarding care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
  • Mentor junior nursing staff and assist with training.
  • Utilize medical equipment safely and effectively.
  • Stay updated on medical best practices and protocols.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in South Africa
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
