Job Description

We are seeking a talented Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Midrand. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing system-level solutions, ensuring all engineering standards and practices are adhered to.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and refine engineering solutions that meet user needs.
• Coordinate with project management teams to align engineering processes with project milestones.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior engineers.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
• Manage project documentation to ensure traceability and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• MSc in Engineering Management is preferred

Experience

• 6+ years in systems design with a proven track record

• Modeling Software
• Data Analysis

Certifications

• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• ITIL Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Systems Integration: Hands-on experience in systems integration and testing.
• Knowledge in Renewable Energy Systems: Understanding of renewable energy systems and their design considerations.
