Pediatric Surgeon

Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Pediatric Surgeon to join our healthcare team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will perform surgical procedures on infants, children, and adolescents, while working closely with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive surgical evaluations.
• Lead and participate in surgical teams for complex procedures.
• Implement evidence-based practices and protocols.
• Engage with families to explain surgical procedures and care plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Medical Degree (MBChB or equivalent)
• Specialization in Pediatric Surgery

Experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on pediatric surgical experience

Certifications

• Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery

Languages

• English: Fluent
