DevOps Engineer

Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer in Port Elizabeth, you'll play a key role in managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure. We're looking for someone with a strong background in automation and system administration to help drive innovation and improve our deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for rapid application deployment.
• Manage cloud infrastructure using infrastructure as code principles.
• Coordinate with development and operations teams to ensure alignment.
• Identify bottlenecks in the deployment process and propose solutions.
• Conduct training sessions on DevOps tools and best practices.
• Maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Engage in capacity planning and performance monitoring.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Develop scripts for automation and system monitoring.
• Facilitate regular team meetings to discuss issues and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Certification in DevOps practices is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a DevOps role
