Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Pharmacist to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications, advising patients on drug interactions and side effects, and ensuring that the pharmacy operates in compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient medication histories and allergies.
• Implement safety protocols to mitigate medication errors.
• Support patients in understanding their medication regimens.
• Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare teams.
• Keep up-to-date with pharmacy laws and ethical standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing pharmacy services.
• Review and manage prescription refill requests.
• Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and organized pharmacy environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy

Experience

• 3+ years in a community pharmacy setting preferred
