Responsibilities

• Establish data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Utilize third-party data sources and APIs to enrich datasets.
• Communicate complex data-related concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continually enhance data processing capabilities.
• Engage in code reviews and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering or similar technical field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years in developing data architectures and ETL processes

Technical Skills

• NoSQL Databases
• Apache Kafka

Soft Skills

Certifications

• IBM Data Engineering Professional Certificate
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Apache Airflow: Proficiency in managing complex data workflows with Airflow.
• Knowledge of Data Lakes: Familiarity with data lake architectures for big data storage.
