Job Description

As a Product Safety Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet rigorous safety standards. You will conduct tests on various consumer goods, identify potential hazards, and recommend necessary changes to enhance safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive safety tests according to industry regulations.
• Evaluate product designs for safety compliance and make necessary recommendations.
• Provide expert advice on safety standards and best practices.
• Ensure timely completion of safety tests and reports to aid in product launches.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Production, Legal, and Compliance.
• Review and interpret safety testing data to inform product development.
• Document testing processes and results meticulously for future reference.
• Assist in audits and inspections related to product safety.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Safety testing certification is highly regarded

Experience

• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 regulations

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of CAD software
• Product testing equipment proficiency

Soft Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with electrical or chemical products: Previous work in testing electrical or chemical consumer goods.
