Responsibilities

• Develop tailored lesson plans that cater to the specific needs of students with hearing impairments.
• Use innovative teaching methods to facilitate learning in diverse classrooms.
• Monitor students’ progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
• Encourage parental involvement through regular communication and updates about student progress.
• Foster a positive atmosphere that promotes respect and understanding among students.
• Integrate technology into lesson plans to enhance learning opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with a team of educators and therapists to support student needs.
• Ensure compliance with educational policies and regulations related to special education.
• Participate in school meetings and contribute to the development of educational policies.
• Engage in community outreach to promote awareness and understanding of hearing impairments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Education with Specialization in Hearing Impairment
• Experience working with diverse learners with various disabilities is advantageous.

Experience

• Experience in developing and implementing IEPs is highly desirable.
