Job Description

We are seeking a creative Architect to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing architectural plans while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. You will work closely with clients to bring their visions to life through innovative design solutions. Familiarity with sustainable practices in architecture will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and planning phases for building projects, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Participate in client meetings to present architectural concepts and gain feedback.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating effectively with subcontractors.
• Supervise construction activities to ensure adherence to designs and specifications.
• Mentor junior architects and interns in their design work.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in architectural design

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• 3D Modeling Software

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Communication

Certifications

• Registered Architect
• LEED Accreditation is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of sustainable design practices: Experience in incorporating eco-friendly materials and energy-efficient designs.
