Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Cape Town team. The ideal candidate will work on innovative projects aimed at enhancing environmental sustainability and compliance with local regulations. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to assess environmental impacts and design effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage potential environmental risks associated with projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, planners, and scientists on multidisciplinary projects.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on environmental findings and recommendations.
• Develop cost estimates for environmental remediation projects.
• Test and evaluate environmental restoration techniques.
• Stay informed about local, national, and international environmental trends.
• Support clients in understanding and implementing sustainable practices.
• Draft and review environmental impact statements and reports.
• Work with local authorities on compliance and enforcement of regulations.
• Engage community members and organizations in environmental initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or similar field
• Relevant certifications are beneficial

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consultancy or projects
