Job Description

We are on the lookout for a proactive Facilities Manager to oversee our property management operations in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of facility maintenance and management, ensuring that our properties are not only functional but also well-maintained. Your role will involve coordinating maintenance staff, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations and administrative functions of facilities.
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures for all facilities.
  • Coordinate with external contractors for facility improvement projects.
  • Conduct safety drills and ensure compliance with emergency procedures.
  • Oversee the management of facility budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Advise on long-term strategic planning for facility needs.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and standards.
  • Conduct regular meetings with staff to discuss ongoing projects and issues.
