Job Description

The Inventory Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records for the organization. This role plays a critical part in ensuring efficient operations and requires a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Track and monitor inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams on inventory-related matters.
  • Assist in training new warehouse staff on inventory management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in inventory management.
  • Utilize barcode scanners and inventory management tools effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Matric certificate
  • Diploma or degree in logistics/supply chain management (advantageous)
Experience
  • 2+ years in a similar role.
Technical Skills
  • Strong skills in using Inventory Management Systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Soft Skills
  • Analytical Skills

Certifications
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
