Job Description

As a Printing Press Machinist at Company XYZ, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing press machinery to ensure the production of high-quality prints. You'll monitor operations, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Initialize and adjust machines for jobs as per specifications.

• Report any major issues to the Production Manager immediately.
• Assist in the development of process improvements for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in print technology is advantageous

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the printing industry with exposure to various printing technologies.

Technical Skills

• Experience with digital printing
• Color management expertise

Soft Skills

• Time management skills
• Team collaboration

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specific printing press technologies (e.g., lithography, screen printing): Hands-on experience with a variety of printing techniques.
• Knowledge of pre-press processes: Understanding the processes involved before printing begins.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues efficiently: Quickly identify and resolve mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
