We are seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team at Animal Care Clinic in Pietermaritzburg. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animals, providing preventative care, and performing surgeries as needed. Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat ill or injured animals.
• Perform routine check-ups and preventative care.
• Guide pet owners regarding dietary needs and health tips.
• Supervise and mentor veterinary staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Support animal welfare initiatives and community outreach.
• Utilize advanced veterinary tools and technologies.
• Implement new clinic protocols for improved service.
• Assist in fostering a positive clinic environment.
• Consult with specialists as required for referrals.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from an accredited institution
• Additional certifications in specialty fields preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of clinical veterinary experience
