Job Description

As a Pharmacist at Community Pharmacy, you'll be at the forefront of patient health, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care. This role involves the preparation and dispensing of medications, counseling patients on their medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve medication-related issues.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the medication dispensing process ensuring accuracy and compliance with pharmacy laws.
  • Educate patients about medication side effects and interactions.
  • Work closely with doctors and medical staff to facilitate patient care.
  • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement programs.
  • Manage pharmacy operations including record-keeping and inventory management.
  • Respond to medication inquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in community health education initiatives.
  • Assist in developing pharmacy policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent qualification
  • Pharm.D. or relevant higher degree is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in community pharmacy
