Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Specialist who will be responsible for enhancing our security posture in Port Elizabeth. This includes identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and responding to incidents. Candidates should bring a robust knowledge of current cybersecurity threats and defenses, as well as experience with security tools and software.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement the latest security technologies.
• Develop incident response plans and procedures.
• Provide recommendations to improve security architecture.
• Assist in the development of disaster recovery plans.
• Conduct security awareness training for employees.
• Liaise with law enforcement when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Relevant certifications are a plus

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience
