Job Description

As a Biomass Plant Technician, you will operate and maintain heavy machinery within a biomass plant to ensure efficient energy production. The role requires strong technical skills and an understanding of mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently to produce biomass energy.
• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on equipment upgrades and modifications.
• Document machine performance and maintenance efforts diligently.
• Initiate proactive measures to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production.
• Assist in inventory management of machinery parts and supplies.
• Contribute to team meetings on safety and operational excellence.
• Ensure environmental standards are upheld at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or biomass energy production

Languages

• English: Fluent
