As an Architect, you will engage in the design and management of architectural projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines and standards. You will work closely with clients and project stakeholders to deliver projects on time while meeting quality benchmarks. Your portfolio should reflect a deep understanding of architecture and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute innovative architectural solutions.
• Participate in community engagement and consultation sessions.
• Foster sustainability within designs to promote eco-friendly practices.
• Review contractor submissions and site work for adherence to plans.
• Collaborate with local authorities for securing permits and approvals.
• Negotiate with suppliers and contractors for project materials.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Evaluate emerging technology impacting architectural design and practice.
• Encourage and uphold a creative and inclusive work environment.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
• Diploma in Architectural Technology is an added benefit

Experience

• 5+ years of in-field experience in architecture

• BIM Software

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational
