Job Description

As a Setup Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of turning machines. You will work closely with the production team to ensure that products are manufactured to the required specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate turning machines to produce metal and plastic parts.
• Check machine settings and measurements to ensure product specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues.
• Work closely with quality assurance to meet production standards.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production progress and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Technical training in CNC operations is preferred

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a production environment.

Technical Skills

• CNC machinery experience
• Measurement tools

• Analytical thinking
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CNC Operator Certification
• Safety training certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
