Job Description

We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cape Town. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform, and possess a strong understanding of DevOps methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Act as a cloud subject matter expert in technical discussions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for cloud migrations.
• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks in cloud applications.
• Stay updated on cloud trends and technologies.
• Engage in regular training and development to enhance cloud skills.
• Review and enhance cloud architecture for best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles

• Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect
