Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the highest quality in our software products. The successful candidate will work closely with development teams to identify, report, and resolve issues, driving continuous improvement in our software development processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed testing for software solutions to ensure functionality.
• Document all testing phases and results for transparency.
• Mentor junior QA team members on best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning meetings to understand upcoming features.
• Evaluate testing tools and recommend solutions for efficiency.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
• Engage in client discussions to gather feedback for product improvement.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of the industry trends for QA practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
• Relevant testing certifications are a bonus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing

Technical Skills

• Selenium
• Continuous Integration Tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills
• Problem-Solving

Certifications

• QA Certification from a recognized body
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in mobile app testing: Knowledge of testing methodologies specifically for mobile applications.
• Experience with Cucumber for BDD: Hands-on experience with Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber.
