Job Description

As a Grader and Sorter, you will be responsible for selecting and sorting leaves based on size and quality standards. With a keen eye for detail, you'll ensure that only the best produce makes it to market. Experience in a fast-paced agricultural environment is essential!

Responsibilities

• Sort leaves accurately to ensure market-ready quality.
• Monitor equipment used in sorting and report issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize sorting workflows.
• Document quality assessment and sorting decisions accurately.
• Provide feedback on sorting processes to improve efficiency.
• Ensure a healthy work environment by keeping stations clean.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or NQF equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Sorting tools experience
• Knowledge of grading techniques

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina
• Attention to processes

Languages

• Afrikaans: Basic
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience using pruning shears: Hands-on experience with tools for sorting and trimming crops.
• Ability to communicate in multiple languages: Advantageous if you can converse in local dialects or other languages.
