Job Description

We are in search of a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The successful candidate will engage in designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems. You will work on exciting projects that contribute to our innovative manufacturing processes and product designs.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion.
• Develop and test prototypes to validate designs.
• Ensure effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns in best practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source materials and components.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies that enhance efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in mechanical engineering roles with a focus on design

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP)

• English: Fluent
