As a Mining Engineer in our Johannesburg office, you will engage in various stages of mining projects. Your role will focus on enhancing operational efficiency, ensuring safety standards, and implementing best practices in mining engineering.

Responsibilities

• Supervise mining crew and provide training to promote safety and efficiency.
• Evaluate equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Work closely with environmental teams to develop sustainable mining practices.
• Enhance operational efficiency through data analysis and reporting.
• Facilitate the preparation of mining budgets and financial forecasts.
• Incorporate new technologies and techniques to improve mining processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or Mining Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in a mining-related role with project management experience.
