We are on the lookout for a passionate and driven Environmental Engineer to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of environmental regulations and have a keen interest in sustainable practices. You will be responsible for managing projects that focus on waste minimization, pollution prevention, and ecological restoration. Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments and audits to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Develop and implement environmental management plans.
• Collaborate with various departments to identify project needs and environmental impacts.
• Prepare and present reports on sustainability initiatives.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling programs.
• Assist in the development of environmental policies and procedures.
• Educate staff and the community on sustainability practices.
• Perform site inspections and create remediation strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting
