Job Description

As a Veterinarian at Durban Veterinary Clinic, you will engage in providing comprehensive veterinary services, conducting health checks, and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for veterinary medicine are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and diagnostics.
• Prepare and administer vaccinations and preventatives.
• Facilitate surgical interventions, including spaying and neutering.
• Lead wellness checks and health assessments for a range of species.
• Foster a welcoming environment for both animals and their owners.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Veterinary Science (BVSc) or equivalent
• Specialization in Specific Animal Care is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of clinical experience in a veterinary setting

Certifications

• Registered Veterinarian with the South African Veterinary Council

Languages
