Job Description

As a Computer Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the operations of computer systems, ensuring efficient and reliable functionality. You will manage a team of computer operations personnel and be responsible for their training, development, and performance evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of operations technicians in managing daily IT tasks.
• Ensure that all operations comply with established standards and procedures.
• Monitor performance and execute system upgrades and patches.
• Implement effective disaster recovery plans and perform system backups.
• Coordinate training sessions for computer systems and software.
• Evaluate and enhance current operational processes.
• Act as the primary contact for IT vendors and service providers.
• Oversee budgeting for computer operations and required resources.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Stay current on technological advancements and inform team of new tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in IT operations
