UX Designer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX Designer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in user-centered design principles and have a strong understanding of the latest design trends. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging and intuitive digital experiences that meet our users' needs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance design effectiveness.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Collaborate with developers to implement and ensure design fidelity.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design language across the product.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and testing.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design

Technical Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Basic knowledge of front-end technologies to collaborate with developers.
