Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Research Analyst to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of medical data and trends, contributing to the development of research initiatives aimed at improving patient care. You will work closely with clinical teams to ensure that our research is aligned with current medical practices and contributes valuable insights to the field.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement research methodologies.
• Coordinate with external research partners and institutions.
• Present findings to stakeholders and at conferences.
• Assist in grant writing and funding proposals.
• Analyze the impact of research outcomes on patient care practices.
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with industry trends.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Public Health, or related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in medical research, particularly in clinical trials or health data analytics

Technical Skills

• Research Design
• Statistical Software (SPSS, SAS, R)

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC)
• ISO 14155 Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
