Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Distribution Supervisor to oversee logistics operations at our Cape Town facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of distribution management. In this role, you will ensure seamless operations across the distribution process, manage a team, and enhance overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution team to ensure adherence to delivery schedules.
• Conduct regular audits of the distribution centre for efficiency and accuracy.
• Liaise with the quality control department to address any delivery issues.
• Implement technology solutions for tracking and managing distribution.
• Create and manage the distribution budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
• Manage relationships with key clients to ensure satisfaction and address needs.
• Assist in the recruitment and training of new distribution personnel.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 5+ years in logistics or related field

Advantageous
