Responsibilities

• Oversee financial transactions and ensure accuracy.
• Facilitate tax return preparations and audits.
• Compile financial statements and reports.
• Enhance internal controls to safeguard assets.
• Ensure on-time submission of tax and statutory returns.
• Participate in financial planning and strategy.
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors.
• Conduct trend analysis to support decision-making.
• Mentor junior accounting staff.
• Keep abreast of financial regulations affecting the industry.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., CA(SA), ACCA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
