Job Description

Seeking an experienced Data Scientist to help our team in Johannesburg extract meaningful insights from data. You will be responsible for developing predictive models and engaging with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions that facilitate strategic growth for our company.

Responsibilities

• Extract insights from large datasets to inform business strategy and decisions.
• Build and deploy machine learning models and algorithms.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends and patterns.
• Develop data visualizations to communicate findings effectively.
• Ensure data integrity and security throughout data processing.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions as the data science representative.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a data-related position
