Job Description

As an IT Support Technician in Port Elizabeth, you will be the first point of contact for our technical support needs. Your expertise will be instrumental in troubleshooting and maintaining our IT infrastructure while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to end-users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Maintain and update IT documentation and user manuals.
  • Install and configure computer systems and applications.
  • Assist in managing IT inventory and asset management.
  • Participate in IT projects and system upgrades.
  • Monitor system performance and suggest improvements.
  • Train staff on new software and hardware applications.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Respond to user requests in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support or related role

Advantageous
