Interior Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative Interior Designer to join our team in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing creative design concepts, working closely with clients to understand their needs, and delivering exceptional interior spaces that meet both aesthetic and functional demands. You will play a key role in the overall design process from idea generation to final execution.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and execute innovative interior designs for diverse projects.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their design needs.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients.
• Oversee project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
• Source and specify finishes, furnishings, and decor.
• Coordinate with tradespeople and suppliers to facilitate project execution.
• Document project progress and adjustments as needed.
• Maintain organized project files and documentation.
• Conduct research on materials and design solutions.
• Foster a collaborative workspace with design team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture

Experience

• 5+ years of interior design experience preferred
