Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Environmental Consultant to join our team in Nelspruit. The successful candidate will assist clients in understanding environmental regulations, conducting assessments, and implementing sustainable practices. This role requires a strong commitment to environmental protection and an understanding of local biodiversity.

Responsibilities

• Assess project compliance with environmental standards.
• Develop strategies for mitigating environmental risks.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for clients.
• Assist in the development of sustainability initiatives.
• Engage with local communities regarding environmental concerns.
• Evaluate biodiversity impacts and recommend mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with other consultants and specialists as needed.
• Provide expert advice on waste management and resource efficiency.
• Monitor project implementation to ensure adherence to environmental plans.
• Conduct field surveys and data collection as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related field
