Job Description

We are seeking a qualified General Practitioner to join our vibrant healthcare team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing comprehensive medical care, diagnosing and treating a variety of health issues, and ensuring the health and wellness of our patients through preventative care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform regular check-ups and screenings for patients.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle changes to improve health.
  • Coordinate care with allied health professionals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as required.
  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in patient care.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Engage in community health programs and outreach activities.
  • Take on emergency care duties when required.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical degree
  • Postgraduate qualification in Family Medicine is advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in general practice or family medicine
