Job Description

We are seeking an AI Research Scientist to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. This role involves conducting groundbreaking research in artificial intelligence and machine learning, developing algorithms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions that address real-world problems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement algorithms that solve complex problems using AI.
• Work closely with other departments to understand their AI requirements.
• Conduct performance evaluations of AI models and optimize them as needed.
• Engage in discussions about AI's ethical implications and ensure responsible deployment.
• Teach workshops and seminars on AI and machine learning topics.
• Lead projects that enhance the capabilities of the AI team.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Ph.D. in machine learning is a plus

• 3-5 years in AI research and development
