Production Worker - Rubber Mold Maker

Job Description

The Rubber Mold Maker will be responsible for designing, fabricating, and maintaining rubber molds for various products. As a vital member of our production team, you will ensure that molds meet quality and efficiency standards while collaborating with other departments to improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs and prototypes for new molds using CAD software.
• Ensure molds are tested for functionality and compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in brainstorming and planning sessions to optimize mold production.
• Train junior staff on mold-making techniques and best practices.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and tools needed for mold fabrication.
• Implement lean manufacturing strategies to streamline operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Post-secondary certification in mechanical or industrial engineering technology preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in rubber mold making or related field
