Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Veterinarian to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, helping to enhance the well-being of our furry patients. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with pet owners and educating them on proper animal care.

Responsibilities

  • Examine a wide range of animal species for health and wellness.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests to inform treatment.
  • Educate clients on the importance of regular veterinary check-ups.
  • Engage in ongoing education to refine skills and knowledge.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to pet owners.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with specialists when advanced care is needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Advanced certifications in specialized veterinary fields are preferred
