We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team in Durban. In this role, you will deliver exceptional patient care, perform assessments, and develop treatment plans. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on improving patient outcomes and enhancing the healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments.
• Develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Prescribe medications and monitor patient responses.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Address patient concerns and provide education on health topics.
• Document all patient encounters and treatments in electronic health records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Advocate for patients and support them in navigating healthcare services.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development.
• Engage in outreach programs to improve community health.

Requirements

Education

• Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing
• Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing is preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in nursing with at least 1 year in a Nurse Practitioner role
