Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable Mining Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and implementing efficient mining processes while ensuring safety and compliance with environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in developing mining methods and processes.
• Manage budgets and timelines for mining projects.
• Train and supervise junior engineers and field staff.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to equipment and processes.
• Engage with stakeholders to address any community concerns regarding mining activities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mining or Civil Engineering
• Advanced degree in Geology or Mining Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in mining operations

Certifications

• Certified Mine Safety Professional (CMSP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
