Project Manager

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly-skilled Project Manager to oversee and lead a variety of projects in our Durban office. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring that they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will collaborate with internal teams and clients, and foster a culture of transparency and communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources and third parties for the flawless execution of projects.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Foster a collaborative team environment focused on achieving project objectives.
• Facilitate regular project meetings to assess progress and resolve issues.
• Communicate project status to stakeholders and ensure transparency.
• Ensure adherence to project management standards and practices.
• Support the team in meeting deadlines and project objectives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
• Master’s degree in Project Management is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years in a project management role encompassing various project types

• Risk Management

• Negotiation

Certifications

• Certified Project Management Practitioner (CPMP)
• Scrum Master Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean Management principles: Knowledge of Lean methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Experience with Digital Project Management tools: Proficient in digital tools like Trello, Asana, or similar.
