Artisan Metal Works is seeking an adept Etcher and Engraver to create intricate designs on various metal surfaces. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and a proficiency in operating engraving machinery.

Responsibilities

• Utilize various engraving techniques to create precise engravings on different types of metals.
• Troubleshoot any machinery issues and conduct minor repairs as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the workshop environment.
• Assist in the training of junior engravers and apprentices.
• Document all processes for quality assurance and reproducibility.
• Work with clients to understand their engraving needs and provide solutions.
• Stay updated with advancements in engraving technology.
• Attend regular team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Ensure smooth workflow by adhering to production schedules.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant diploma or certificate in metalworking or engraving

Experience

• Experience working with a range of materials, including copper, brass, and stainless steel

Technical Skills

• Computer-aided design (CAD)
• Laser engraving techniques

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent
