We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our talented team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will focus on the design, development, and testing of mechanical systems, contributing to innovative projects that require precision and technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis and simulations using engineering software.
• Participate in design reviews and project meetings.
• Draft and maintain engineering specifications.
• Develop testing protocols for mechanical prototypes.
• Coordinate project schedules and resource allocation.
• Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
• Research and implement industry best practices.
• Support the sales team with technical expertise during client presentations.
• Document changes and track version control for project files.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering or relevant industry experience
