DevOps Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to enhance our operations in Midrand. This position involves developing and implementing cloud-based solutions, monitoring system performance, and ensuring the reliability of our deployment processes. A strong technical background and teamwork approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures.
• Automate system processes and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot AWS/Azure resources to ensure availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance.
• Implement security measures for cloud infrastructure and data.
• Participate in software development lifecycle including planning, development, testing, and deployment.
• Document architecture, procedures, and workflows.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certification (AWS, Azure, etc.) is preferred.

Experience

• 3+ years in DevOps roles or related field
