Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Manager to oversee our production functions based in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing production teams and improving operational processes, ensuring efficient and safe production environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily production activities and manage workforce allocation.
• Implement operational plans to achieve organizational targets.
• Promote safety culture by ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Review and analyze financial reports related to production costs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
• Lead quarterly operational reviews to ensure performance goals are met.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Review equipment and facility needs for optimal performance.
• Provide mentorship and career development for staff.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field
• MBA or similar would be an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years in an operations managerial role.
