Job Description

As a Machine Feeder and Offbearer, you'll assist the machine operator in producing top-quality wooden poles. This role involves physically demanding tasks such as feeding raw wood into machines, monitoring operations, and ensuring quality control of finished products.

Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient feeding of raw materials into machines.
• Maintain machinery to prevent downtime.
• Monitor production quality and consistency.
• Assist in packing and preparing poles for shipment.
• Keep work area organized and hazard-free.
• Document production activities and report discrepancies.
• Work effectively with the production team to meet targets.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Participate in routine equipment checks.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Basic Mechanical Skills
• Wood Processing Knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Fluent

Advantageous
