DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to lead our cloud initiatives in Cape Town. This role involves automating and streamlining our operations and processes while building and maintaining tools for deployment and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the management of cloud environments and services.
• Integrate security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Facilitate incident management and resolution processes.
• Assist in the development of infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Engage in capacity planning and performance tuning.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
• Certifications in DevOps methodologies is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms and automation tools
