Job Description

We are seeking a talented UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate will create user-centered designs and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the user experience of our digital products.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to define user needs and project goals.
• Create personas and user journey maps to guide design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers to align designs with business objectives.
• Utilize design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD to create designs.
• Ensure accessibility standards are met in all design deliverables.
• Document user flows and design specifications for development handoff.
• Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on UX best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Design or related field
• Relevant certifications in UX design preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in UX design

Technical Skills

• HTML/CSS
• Usability testing tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Visual Design: Ability to create visually appealing design concepts and branding elements.
• Proficiency in design software (Photoshop, Illustrator): Strong skills in using design software to produce quality visuals.
